We placed a penny to let him know that a veteran has come to visit then we place an American flag to honor his service. We met his son Greg and his wife at the grave and visited for a short time before heading back east on Sparta Hwy. We then made a stop in at the DAV (Disabled American Veterans Office) for a Veterans breakfast. We got to talk with several veterans before heading out and headed up town to the War Memorial Park where we read a few tames on the Memorial Wall. We then headed back towards the house. We had an amazing walk. The weather was perfect. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluting in helping us honor this hero. We had 167 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you.
