Our walk today was dedicated in honor of:

Army Veteran Charles C. Bristow Sr, Age 92 of Crossville, TN.
Died May 20, 2019

He was born July 23, 1926, in Crossville TN.
After serving in the Army during World War II where he was awarded the Purple Heart, Clifford worked as a wholesale grocery receiving clerk. He also was a member of Fredonia Baptist Church.

He is buried at the Green Acres Memory Gardens

It was a great honor to walk 7.25 Miles with Army Veteran Charles C. Bristow Sr. We watched the sun coming up as we left the house and headed towards the Fair Grounds where we participated in the Stars & Strips 5K to help raise money to benefit Creative’s Veterans Assistance Program. The weather was perfect for this event. Their was quite a turnout. Always great to see so many people coming out to help Veterans and their families. After the event we visited the 9/11 Memorial before heading home. I want to thank everyone who Honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. We had 138 honks today. Thank you

Army Veteran Charles C. Bristow Sr will not be forgotten !
