Today our walk was dedicated in honor of:
Army Veteran James Oliver Gibson, Age 84 of Waterford, MI.
Died May 3, 2025
He retired from Fleet Carrier in 2005 after 12 years of service. Enjoyed playing cards and bowling.
Served as an E2 in the Army
It was a great honor to walk 11.23 miles with Army Veteran James Oliver Gibson. We walked on Northside Drive and headed South on 127. We then cut over to West Ave. and headed towards town where we stopped in at the Veterans Memorial Park. Their we read some of the names of our Fallen Brothers on the Memorial Wall. We then headed North on 127 and headed back towards the house. We had an amazing walk. The weather was perfect. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. I want to thank Sgt. Eriq Aquino for walking with us today helping me honor this hero. We had 515 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you.
