Today our walk was dedicated in honor of :
Marine Veteran George Alan Henry Jr. Age 34 of Cookeville, TN.
Died Mar. 10, 2020
He was medically retired from the United States Marine Corps, and attended the New Hope Baptist Church.
He is survived by his Father,George Sr. – Mother,Sabrina – Brothers, Byran,Ethan, and Isaac. Sisters, Tausha, Heather, and Jasmine. Maternal Grandparents, Ronnie, Verble. Paternal Grandparents, John and Shirley.
It was a great honor to walk 5.81 Miles with Marine Veteran George Alan Henry Jr. We headed towards town and walked by the fire station and then made a stop in at the Veterans Memorial Park where we read a few names on the Memorial Wall and then headed back north. We turned at the Bakery and headed back towards the house. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. We had 288 honks. It was amazing. I also want to thank Air Force SRA Ollie Faure for joining us on this walk and helping us honor this hero. I also want to thank Brandi and the boys for joining us and helping us honor this hero. It was a great walk. We really enjoyed getting to see the sunset as well. So beautiful. A great way to end the month.
