Army SPC Luke Blissett, Age 21 of Westminster, CO.
Died Apr. 28, 2024
Luke was a Paratrooper assigned to the 173rd Airborne Brigade.
served as a Cannon Crewmember assigned to 4th Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade.
It was a great honor to walk 5.79 Miles with Army SPC Luke Blissett. It was still dar when we headed out. Not much traffic and we could hear some birds starting to wake up. We headed towards town and made a stop by the fire station. We then walked over to Lantana Roag and turned onto main street. Our next stop was the Veterans Memorial Park where we read several names on the Memorial Wall of our Fallen brothers. We spent a few miniutes reflecting on what had happended just a few feet away a few days ago and we said a prayer for the family who lost their loved one. We then headed north and turned at the Bakery. We made another stop at the Frost Cemetery to visit some of our Fallen Brothers before heading home. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. We had 122 honks this morning. It was amazint. I also want to thank Marine LCPL Lebraun Hamilton for joining us on our walk this morning and helping us honor this Fallen Hero.
