Army SPC Abigail Jenks, Age 21 of Gansevoort, NY.
Died Apr. 19th, 2021
A paratrooper who died Monday during training was performing a static-line parachute jump from a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter when she suffered a fatal injury, 82nd Airborne Division
Spc. Abigail Jenks, 21, was assigned to the division’s 3rd Brigade Combat Team when she died during the training operation at Sicily Drop Zone on Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
It was a great honor to Skydive in honor of Army SPC Abigail Jenks today. This was once in a lifetime experince for me. The weather was perfect. I had never jumped before so I had no idea what to expect. It was amazing. I want to thank Chattanooga Skydiving Company for helping me honor this great hero. I want to thank Darin and Feral for making this an amazing experience.
