Today our walk was dedicated in honor of:
Army SPC Evan James Vaillancourt, Age 21 of Warren, MI.
Died Nov. 12, 2022
Evan was a Combat Medic with C-Co 2-508, 82nd Airborne Division, 2 Fury from the sky.
It was a great honor to walk 5.13 Miles with Army SPC Evan James Vaillancourt. We headed east on Sparta Hwy and turned onto West Ave and headed towards town. We made a stop in at the Veterans Memorial Park and we noticed that the “Taste of Crossville” was going on and the had main street blocked off. We walked around for a few min. before headed back north on Main Street. We turned at the Bakery and headed back to the house. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. We had 348 honks today. It was amazing. I also want to thank Air Force SRA Ollie Faure for joining our walk and helping me honor this hero today.
