He held the position of Commander within his VFW post.Had many medals never talked about that time with my older brothers. I had recently celebrated my ninth birthday. He was an exceptional father, known for his generosity and willingness to assist others, including veterans, individuals in need, and family members. He was a devoted family man.

We started out by walking along Holiday Hills Lake and then we headed down Miller Ave. We made a stop in at the American Legion and got to visit with several of our brothers and then we headed towards town. Our next stop was the Vetterans Memorial Park where we met a gentalmen from out of town who was visiting the park. We then walked over towards West Ave and then Sparta Hwy then home. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. We had 373 honks. It was amazing. I also want to thank Navy HT2 Michael Fonseca for helping me honor this hero.
