Our hike today was dedicated in honor of :
Marine CPL Christian Buxton, Age 21 of Idaho Falls, ID.
Died Jan. 3, 2023
Christian Buxton was a Marine at Camp Pendleton. He was a gunner and was proud to serve and honored to fight for the freedom of his country alongside his brothers. He carried himself with exceptional strength, valor, and grit.
Christian was a beautiful, loving son, protective brother, devoted husband, and loyal friend. He is survived by his parents, his sister, and wife.
It was a great honor to hike 2.11 Miles with Marine CPL Christian Buxton today on the Kirkstone Trail in Fairfield Glade, TN. I had never hiked this trail so it was a new one. Lots of views of woods and several spots you could see a lake behind the trees. The birds were singing. It was so nice out. The weather was perfect for a hike and we had seen several other people out hiking with their dogs. I want to thank Donna and Candy for helping me honor this hero today. It was amazing. I also want to thank these heros for helping me honor this hero today.
