He was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Frankfort and American Legion in Colfax. Mike enjoyed drawing, rock & roll music and especially his three dogs, 2 beagles and a schnauzer.
We had a great 5.50 Mile walk today. Very thankful I had my rain suit on as we got caught in a downpour. I met Mike when I started working for him when I was 17 years old. I worked with him till I went into the Navy and then again when I got out 4 years later. He was a great man and I enjoyed working with him. All these years and I had no idea that he had served in the military. It was an honor to walk with him today and remembering all the great times that we use to have.
