Today my walk was dedicated in honor of:

Air Force Capt. Wade Anthony Greer, Age 25 of Nacogdoches, TX
KIA Nov 5 1969 Vietnam

He is honored on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall on Panel 16W, Line 34
Capt. Greer is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

https://clinicanovogama.com/ginecologia/ 1st Lt Fred Carter and Capt Wade Greer were flying F-4C tail number 63-7604. As they returned from an interdiction mission, they were given a ground-controlled approach into Cam Ranh Bay airfield. During the approach the F-4 simply disappeared from the controller’s radar screens – no reason from the crash was ever found. The wreckage eventually was located and the remains of the two men recovered. They are buried together in Arlington National Cemetery.

We had a great 10.15 Mile walk today. The weather was perfect. We started out and walked to the War Memorial Park down town and read a few names off the wall and continued down 127. We walked in the Gardens and met his 1st cousin. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. It was amazing.

Air Force Capt. Wade Anthony Greer will not be forgotten !
