It was a great honor to walk 10.42 Miles with Air Force SrA John C. Fernandez-Buestan. It was my favorite part of the day. Right before the sun comes up. It was around 32 deg. The wind was really blowing. We headed towards town on West Ave. Our first stop was the Veterans Memorial Park where we read several names of our Fallen Brothers on the Memorial Wall. We then continued North and walked out to Northside Drive. We watched the Buffalo for a few min. before heading home. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. We had 549 honks today. It was amazing. I also want to thank Marine CPL Wyatt Hatcher for helping us honor this hero today.
