His service included a deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, studying criminal justice and forensics psychology.
“He was a well known MMA fighter; he lived and had a passion for boxing and mentoring young men,” said his aunt, Patricia Walker. “He was a devoted Christian and shared his word with many. He was known to be a DD for many friends as he always wanted them to arrive home safe from a night of hanging out. He mentored others and was very well respected. Christopher had no known enemies and was a good kid. He was disciplined in his way of living, health, career, and wanted to give back and serve others for no recognition. We are very proud to know he was who he was.”

We then worked our way over to the 9/11 Memorial. We then headed south on 127 and headed for town where we stopped in at the Vetterans Memorial Park and read some names of our Fallen Brothers on the Memorial Wall. We then walked to Lantana Road and then headed back towards West Ave. We then made our way back to the house. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. We had 234 honks today. It was amazing. I also want to thank Marine CPL Timothy Sneden for helping us honor this hero today. We had a great walk.
