Today our Walk and Hike was dedicated in honor of:

Navy Veteran Amanda Brailer, Age 35 of Lake Shire, MO.
Died Dec. 8, 2016

AZ2 Amanda served nearly five years as aviation maintenance administration. She was honorably discharged in 2004 as a Petty Officer Second Class and was a Persian Gulf War Veteran.

It was a great honor to walk 5.63 miles with Navy Veteran Amanda Brailer. We headed east on Sparta Hwy and we hit the trail. It was a little colder then usual and it was spitting some snow. We had rain over night so their was some water in places but the trail was in very good shape. It was nice and quiet, we watched the some squirals playhing and the birds were enjoyhing their morning. The trail was 1.7 Miles . When we got back to the road we kept heading east and we then made a stop in at the 9/11 Memorial. We then made the loop and then headed back to the house. We had an amazing walk. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero today. We had 255 honks. It was amazing. I also want to thank SPC Jordan Neal, PO3 Ommy Molina II, SPC Jonathan Bryant, HT2 Michael Fonseca, SRA Ollie Faure, PV2 Joshua Dommes, LCPL Le’Braun Hamilton, CPL Wyatt Hatcher, SGT Adam Laporte, SGT James Wilson Jr, SGT Ryan Isom, PV2 Joshua Dommes, SGT Logan DeLanoy, PFC Morgan Daly, GM1 Matthew Austin, LCPL Mathew Kenna, SPC Luke Blissett, SFC Jonathan Langford, SGT Eriq Aquino, SRA Zachary Rayl, CPL Timothy Sneden, Army Veteran Codey W.
