Our walk today was dedicated in honor of:

Army SSGT Andrew Tobin, Age 24 of Los Angeles, CA.
KIA Aug. 24, 2011

SSGT Tobin was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y.

Died in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom.

It was a great honor to walk 5.36 Miles with Army SSGT Andrew Tobin. It was in the mid 80’s when we headed out. We made our first stop in at the 9/11 Memorial. We then made our way to the Veterans Memorial Park down town and we read several names of our Fallen Brothers on the Memorial Wall. As you can see in some of the photo’s we did run into a little rain but felt good. We then took West Ave and then headed back towards the house. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. We had 354 honks today. I also want to thank Marine SGT Ryan Isom for joining our walk today and helping us honor SSGT Tobin. It was a great walk.

Army SSGT Andrew Tobin will not be forgotten !
