Our walk today was dedicated in honor of :
Marine Veteran Lcpl Matthew Kenna, Age 27 of Baytown, TX.
Died Jan. 19, 2020
He was a graduate of Ross Sterling High School class of 2010, received his bachelor’s degree from Lee College, a veteran of the US Marine Corps, and catholic by faith. Matthew also enjoyed astrophotography, Marvel; especially Spiderman, traveling, hiking, visiting the Galveston pier, and longboarding.

It was a great honor to walk 11.51 Miles with Marine Veteran LCPL Matthew Kenna. Our first stop was the Obed River Park where we enjoyed hearing the water and all the birds. We then made our way over to the 9/11 Memorial and then headed up town to the Veterans Memorial Park where we read some names of our Fallen Brothers on the Memorial Wall. We then headed south and stopped in at the American Legion where we met a few friends. We had a wonderful walk today. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. We had 284 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you.
