Steve served in the US Army from 1967 to 1969 and enlisted in the US Navy in 1979, serving until his retirement in 1997.

We got a little wet but kept on going. We worked our way up town to the Veterans Memorial Park where we read some names of our Fallen Brothers on the Memorial Wall. We then worked our way noth on 127 and turned back West by the Bakery and headed back to the house as we could hear more Thunder coming. We had a great walk. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. We had 185 honks. It was amazing. I want to thank Marine SGT Eriq Aquino for joining in the walk to help me honor this hero.
