Today our walk was dedicated in honor of :

Army SPC Robert Adam Swaney, Age 21 of West Jefferson, OH.
KIA Jul, 30, 2005

Robert was assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Carson, CO.

Robert loved the game of football and played it in Highschool.

It was a great honor to walk 5.46 Miles with Army SPC Robert Adam Swaney. When we started out this evening it looked like we were about to get a bad storm. But the closer it got it split and went around us. I had a few sprinkles as we walked towards town on West Ave. Our first stop was the fire station and then we walked to Lantana and then turned down Main street. We walked by the Military Musium and then made a stop in at the Veterans Memorial Park where we read some names of our Fallen Brothers on the Memorial Wall. We sat and talked and walked around the park a little and then headed back north. Reaching the Bakery we turned west and headed back to the house. It was a great walk. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. We had 279 honks. It was amazing. I also want to thank Army SGT James Wilson Jr for joining us on our walk and helping me honor this hero today.

Army SPC Robert Adam Swaney will not be forgotten !
