He is burried in the Nashville National Cemetery Section OO Site 256

of life until he enlisted in the Marines 14 June
1966,at a Nashville Recruiting Office.
Upon arriving in Vietnam 4 October 1967 Earl
was assigned to Mortar Platoon with H & S
Company,3rd Battalion,3rd Marine Regiment,
3rd Marine Division.
While the H & S Mortar Platoon was at Camp
Carroll,8 kilometers southwest of Cam Lo the
base had incoming hostile 130MM artillery
fire and Carl died as a result of fragmentation
wounds to the body.

It is quite different when I am walking with a hero. I want to thank everyone who honked and waved in helping me honor this hero. It was great.
