A lifelong resident of Vidor, she was a 2005 graduate of Vidor High School, and a member of Eastgate United Pentecostal Church of Vidor, and was proudly serving her country in the United States Army in Iraq as a Military Police Officer.

It was an honor to walk 5.57 Miles with Army SPC Kamisha J. Block. It was dark when we headed out but it was quiet , not much trafic. We walked by the police station and then walked to main street and made a stop in at the Veterans Memorial Park where we read some names of our Fallen Brothers. We then made our way north on main street and caught a glimps of the beautiful sunrise. We then turned at the Bakery and headed back towards the house. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. We had 56 honks this morning. It was an amazing walk. I also want to thank Marine SGT Logan Delanoy for joining us on our walk this morning.
