He achieved the rank of 2nd Class Petty Officer and worked for the Navy as an electronics mechanic aboard the U.S.S. Yorktown during the Korean War. He had a long career as a diesel mechanic. His interests included attending classic car and gun shows, antique shopping and he loved fishing.

We headed towards town on West Ave. and we walked our way to the Veterans Memorial Park where we read some names of our Fallen Brothers ont he Memorial Wall. We then headed north on 127 and walked out to the interstate. We walked back south on 127 till we reached the Bakery and then we headed back towards the house. It was a great walk. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping me honor this hero. We had 683 honks today. It was amazing. Thank you.
