He served with Company M, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines, 1st Marine Division in Quang Tri Province, South Vietnam.
PFC Bolter was killed in action when he sustained wounds from an explosive device. His body was recovered.

We had a great 6.14 Mile walk today. We walked up to the War Memorial Park down town and back. The weather was perfect.
