Today our walk was dedicated in honor of:
Navy & Army Veteran Bobby W Brooks, Age 78 of Crossville, TN.
Died April 12, 2020
Born in Dunlap, TN.
Mr. Brooks was a Vietnam War Veteran and Retired Combat Medic in the US Army, and also served as a US Navy Corpsman.
We had a great 8.33 Mile walk today. We started out by walking along Holiday Hills Lake and then we took some back roads and ended up over by CCHS and stopped to look at the Navy Jet. We then headed over to Lantana and headed towards town. We got by the Military Museum and was asked to stop in to tell what I was doing with a group of visitors. We then made a stop at the War Memorial Park before heading back to the house. We had a great walk. I want to thank everyone who honked, waved, and saluted in helping us honor this hero. We had 148 honks. It was amazing. Thank you
